Why do I see "Bad Username or Password" when I try to publish from Family Tree Builder?

If you recently changed your password at MyHeritage.com, but did not change it in Family Tree Builder, you will receive the error message “Bad Username or Password” when trying to publish your family tree from Family Tree Builder.

In order to remedy this situation, open Family Tree Builder and go to Publishing > My Sites.

Click on the “Sign in as a different member” link. Enter your email address and new password and click OK.

Next, click on Publishing > Publishing Settings. Click on the Advanced Settings button and check the “Use this account” setting. Enter your email address and current password here.

Now close Family Tree Builder and reopen it.

You will no longer receive the error message and be able to publish successfully.
