I've had a very busy summer this year and have not been posting to the blogs or groups lately. (I have three children at home and one will be two years old this week ... so you can understand why I'm so busy!)
I have also been frought with computer issues. In the past month I've lost the graphics card and a power supply and a surge protector. I'm barely, "hanging in there" with this puter that I've patched togather... anyway....if you are new to this group, thanks for joining! You will find that the Yahoo Group is STILL having search issues. I keep emailing support at Yahoo hoping that someone will finally fix the problem and I try to send messages in duplicate to the Google Group, too. There is a link from the Yahoo Group to the Google group in case you would rather view messages at Google. This group is rather quiet with only 8 or 10 members and that's nice if you like small groups. (I know I do!)
I try to import all of my Blogger posts into Word Press when I find the time. Not all posts have been imported.
The Louisiana Surnames Louisiana Researchers database is growing! I believe it is up to page four now, thanks to all of those who have submitted your surnames and email contacts.
There have been many visitors to this My Heritage site from 242 days ago the visitor clicks have increased to over 8,000 visitors and the Blogger blog has reached over 20,000 visitors. Now not all of those Blogger visitors stay to read... some of those visits that show up are just from search engine hits. But I thank them all for visiting and hope that all of my visitors find something worthwhile... even if it is just a link they are looking for.
I hope that everyone stays safe this summer, especially with Hurricane season here.
